Fun Facts in Football #5

Brentford was the only team in the Premier League to do the double over Manchester City (1-2, 1-0).

Manchester United finished 3rd on the league table with 75 points, with 48 of those coming from Old Trafford, which is the most they have ever gotten from their home.
It is also interesting to note that the Red Devils are unbeaten in 18 games at home, with their last loss coming on the 7th of August last year against Brighton, which was on opening day.

Leicester City became the third team in Premier League history to win the league and get relegated since Blackburn in 2001.

Luton Town will be in the Premier League for the first time since the history of the club's establishment.

Due to the 10 points deduction and the 0-1 loss to AC Milan, Juventus will finish in 7th place in the Serie A table with one game to go, which means they will be in UEFA Europa Conference League next season.

Aston Villa made their return to Europe competition after beating Brighton to finish in 7th place at the expense of Tottenham, who joins Chelsea to miss out on the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.

After his penalty miss against Manchester United, a penalty which was saved by David De Gea, Alexandar Mitrovic made it 4 out of 7 penalties missed in the Premier League Campaign.  Ouch!
