Premier League| Leeds 0-2 Manchester United

The drama at Elland Road finally comes to an end as Manchester United beat Leeds United 2-0 in what was a tough game.

Four days after their blistering 2-2 draw at Old Trafford, the two sides squared off once again, this time at the home of the whites.

The first half ended goalless but there were alot of talking points, as Leeds had chances to open the scoring early on in the game while Bruno Fernandes failed to convert his chance at the end of the half.
The second half didn't start well for the Red Devils, with the likes of Crysensio Summerville and Luke Arling giving the defense something to worry about.

The Red Devils were able to spark back to life in the remaining 30 minutes of the game, with Diogo Dalot striking the post in the 63rd minute before Fred curled his shot wide.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 80th minute, as Marcus Rashford got past two defenders to meet Luke Shaw's cross before directing his header home from close range, grabbing his 12th league goal and 21st goal in all competitions.

Substitute Alejandro Garnacho made it 2-0 just 5 minutes later, receiving Wout Weghorst's pass before beating Robin Koch and Meslier to double his team's tally.
The Red Devils had two more goals in the back of the net later on, but there were both ruled out due to offsides.

With the win, Manchester United leapfrog Manchester City for now and occupy the 2nd place, 5 points behind log leaders Arsenal.
As for Leeds, they dropped back to 17th place with 19 points, a point above the relegation spot.
