FA Cup| The Brazilians turn it up at Old Trafford| Manchester United 3-1 Reading

The Samba Boys ran riot at Old Trafford as they helped United beat Reading 3-1 to advance to the next round.

As expected, United took control of the game from the early stages, dominating in both possession and chance creation.
Marcus Rashford thought he had extended his goal tally in the 35th minute after he tucked home from close range, but the provider Wout Weghorst was deemed to have been in an offside position.
Reading held on just enough to end the half goalless.

The second half proved to be a more tougher half for the Royals as they struggled to contain the pressure from the Red Devils.
Eventually, they couldn't hold on for much longer as Casemiro opened the scoring in the 54th minute, who met an excellent throughball by Antony before scooping the ball past Joe Hurnley.
The Brazilian scored his second of the night 4 minutes later, this time beating Hurnley from 25 yards out after being set up by Substitute Fred.

Things went from bad to worse for Reading  as they were reduced to 10-men in the 65th minute, with Andy Carroll wiping out Casemiro which resulted to a second yellow card for the Englishman.
Fred made it 3-0 just a minute later, collecting Bruno Fernandes delivery before finishing off with a sublime backheel at the near post.

Reading received a little glimpse of hope as Substitute Amadou Salif Mbengue made it 3-1 in the 72nd minute, but it was just a consolation as United held on to their 2 goal lead  to book their place in the next round.
