Portugal and South Korea sealed their Round of 16 qualification from Group H while Uruguay and Ghana got kicked out.
Due to a last minute goal by Hwang Heechan, South Korea were able to turn their fortune as they come from behind to beat Portugal 2-1, a side that had already secured qualification and top spot.
With 4 points, South Korea finished in 2nd place but it wouldn't have been the story if Uruguay had scored a 3rd goal against Ghana.
Uruguay got 2 first half goals through Giorgian De Arrascaeta, goals that were meant to set them on course for the next round but after hearing about South Korea's win, a search for a 3rd goal began but they couldn't get it, leaving them to crash out of the tournament alongside their opponents, Ghana who missed a penalty and a chance to edge both Korea and Uruguay.
Portugal finished with 6 points, 2 higher than South Korea and Uruguay, who had the same points and goal difference but the Asian side edged them with the fair play rule.
Ghana finished with a total of 3 points.
