World Cup| Brazil and Switzerland advance from Group G while Serbia and Cameroon leave the tournament

Group G ended with a bang as Brazil and Switzerland secured the last 2 Round of 16 spot.

It was a tough game between Serbia and Switzerland, but the latter managed to edge their opponent with a 3-2 victory.
Remo Freuler's early second half goal proved to be the difference as the Swiss held on to book a place in the next round.

Brazil were aiming to win all their group stage matches but they met a stumbling block in Cameroon, with the African side picking up all 3 points after a late goal scored by Vincent Aboubakar.
Despite their 1-0 loss, The Samba Boys still progressed to the next rounds as the leaders of the group with 6 points.

Switzerland finished with 6 points too but goal difference seperated the two sides, while Cameroon and Serbia finished with 4 points and a point respectively.

Brazil will take on South Korea while a repeat of the 2019 Nations League Semi Final showdown will take place as Switzerland will be set to exact their revenge on Portugal.
