Premier League| 20th Goal for Haaland as Manchester City cruise past Leeds United


Erling Haaland was on show once again as he helped Manchester City beat Leeds United 3-1 at Elland Road.

 The opening 45' minutes saw the Cityzens dominate the Whites, both in possession and shots.
 They were finally rewarded for their efforts late in the first half as Rodri tapped home a spilled ball by lllan Meslier.
 The Leeds shotstopper failed to hold on to Riyad Mahrez shot, instead rebounding it to the path of the Spaniard who had a simple finish.
 After the break, Jack Grealish was on hand to rob the possession off Robin Koch before playing Haaland through  to score the team's second goal of the night.
 The Englishman and Norwegian combined once again to make it 3-0 in the 64th minute, taking the latter's tally to 20 league goals of the season.
 He also became the fastest player to reach 20 goals in the league, netting after 14 appearances, 7 fewer than former Sunderland striker Kevin Phillips.

Leeds did get a consolation in the 73rd minute as Pascal Struijk headed home from a corner.
 Haaland had the chance to get his hattrick minutes later, but his tame effort was smothered by Meslier.

Nevertheless, City did well to hold on to their two-goal lead, taking all the 3 points and mover back to 2nd place on the table.
