World Cup| Tight Ending in Group C as Argentina and Poland qualify for the Knockout Rounds

End to End Drama in Group C as Argentina and Poland qualify for the knockout rounds while Mexico and Saudi Arabia bow out in tears.

Coming into their respective games, the 4 teams were tight on points, with Poland on 4 points, Argentina on 3, Saudi Arabia on 3 points while Mexico had just a point but could have qualify if they beat Saudi with more than 3 goals and Argentina defeat Poland with more than 3 goals.

The latter did go as planned, with Argentina earning a victory against Poland but just with 2 goals.
Though Lionel Messi missed a spotkick in the first half, Julian Alvarez and Alexis Mac Allister spared the bruises of the PSG maestro with a goal each.
Argentina could've had more but the brilliance of Wojciech Szczesny denied them.

As for Mexico, their dreams were completely shattered late in the game against Saudi Arabia.
With 2 goals in the second half, they needed one more goal to put themselves in second place, instead they conceded in the 90+5 minute, a goal scored by Salem Al-Dawsari enough to kick them out.

Argentina will take on Australia in the Round of 16 while Poland will have a dance with France.
