World Cup| Spain exert dominance on Costa Rica in Group F

A 5 star performance from Spain as they rallied to humiliate Costa Rica with 7 goals.
Dani Olmo opened the scoring in the 11th minute, meeting Gavi's deflected cross before lobbing his shot past Keylor Navas.
Marco Asensio made it 2-0 in the 21th minute before Ferran Torres slotted in a penalty 10 minutes later.

Spain made it their duty to destroy their opponents with possession and world class passes, passes which Guardiola himself will applaude for.
Tiki-Taka at its best, Espanyol utterly dominated the first half in all departments, too dominant that Costa Rica only got into their box once, which was deemed to be an offside run.
If first half wasn't dominating enough, Second half became more of a free for all affair as Spain kept hold of everything.
Ferran Torres grabbed his brace in the 59th minute, taking advantage of a miscommunication between the Costa Rica defenders.
Gavi (18) became the youngest goalscorer in World Cup history since Pele (17) after he made it 5-0 in the 75th minute with a neat outside boot finish to the bottom corner.

Carlos Soler and Alvaro Morata rounded up the goals in the 90th and 92nd minute respectively, sealing a very comfortable and destructive win, taking them to the top of Group F ahead of Japan, who shocked Germany earlier on with a 2-1 win.
