UEFA Europa League| PSV Eindhoven 2-0 Arsenal

 Arsenal came off short against PSV Eindhoven, losing their first Europa league match of the season with a margin of 2 goals in the Netherlands.

 With qualification already secured, the Gunners needed a win to maintain their top spot.
  Just like their opponents, PSV already their foot in the next stage but were aiming to take the top.

PSV had most of the shots in the opening half despite having less possession of the ball.
 They even had two goals ruled out, much to the frustration of the Dutch side.

They did get their reward minutes after the restart, grabbing a goal through Joey Veerman after a neat play from Luuk De Jong.
De jong made it 2-0 in the 63rd minute, heading into an empty net after a mistake by Gunners stopper Aaron Ramsdale.

Four minutes later, Cody Gakpo thought he had finally gotten his goal, but for the second time of the night, he was denied by the offside flag.

 PSV held on to their 2-goal lead, earning a victory against the Gunners.
 Despite the loss, Arsenal still remain in 1st place with 12 points, but will need to win their next game if they want to hold on to it, with PSV just behind with 10 points.
