La Liga| Barcelona 4-0 Athletic Bilbao| Dembele, Lewandowski, Roberto and Torres headline the scoresheet

Ousmane Dembele put up a 5 star performance as he helped Barcelona trash Athletic Bilbao 4-0 at the Camp Nou.

The Frenchman opened the scoring with a powerful rare header past Unai Simon in the 12th minute after he had his initial effort saved.

6 minutes later, Sergio Roberto made it 2-0 via a deflection off Inigo Martinez after a brilliant one-two with the Frenchman.

Just like their previous game, Barcelona went 3-0 up in the first half, Dembele once again involved as he set top scorer Robert Lewandowski, who produced a fine finish.

The 3 goals were scored in the space of 12 minutes!

There was concern in the 34th minute as Golden Boy Gavi picked up a knock and had to be replaced.

In the second half, the intensity got higher, as the Catalans weren't satisfied with thier comfortable lead.

Pedri hit the post after a little scramble before Simon had to be sharp to deny Ferran Torres.

Torres didn't give up however, as he finally scored his second goal in three games, meeting Dembele's pass before beating Simon in the 73rd minute.

With the win, Barcelona reduced the gap between them and Real Madrid to 3 points.

Bilbao remain in 6th place despite the loss.
